I am an experienced school leader with over 25 years working in schools and currently a successful executive head teacher in the South West of England. I am passionate about learning and am always looking for innovative ways to support schools to be the best they can be. I enjoy the opportunity to collaborate and through ConnectEd I help schools, businesses, charities, and NGOs successfully connect so that children and young people can experience a wide range of opportunities to help them to be the best they can be and prepare them for the future. I work closely with a variety of stakeholders to support the development and sharing of outstanding educational resources and content in line with school and curriculum requirements, particularly for primary ages 2-11. I believe in the power of pupil voice and throughout all my work ensure that children are heard. To date I have successfully supported a number of organisations and schools worldwide including school improvement and staff development sessions. I recently presented to the UK Parliament's Education Select Committee and Westminster Forums regarding career related learning in primary schools, something I am particularly passionate about. I support schools by delivering face to face and online training/coaching sessions to develop pedagogy and teacher/leadership skills, while supporting businesses and charities in developing and integrating educational products, resources, initiatives or ideas. In 2024 I launched Wellbeing Walks, a recognition of the power of the outdoors to refresh and recalibrate the mind. - details below.

'John joined us on Safer Internet Day 2024 and led personalised sessions for Y1-Y8 on the topic of being influenced online. He also led sessions for our staff and then an online session for parents in the evening. To say that these sessions were well-received would be an understatement. John skillfully led each of his audiences on an age-appropriate journey that was both engaging and topical. I would not hesitate in recommending him, with his wealth of educational leadership experience, to run similar sessions in other settings.'

'I worked with John for one year. Our cooperation was great. He facilitated the participating schools throughout the project and he organised the visit of the British students to Athens. To my opinion both children gain a lot from this. I hope we will have the opportunity to continue our cooperation through other projects'

'Learners in upper primary had the opportunity to interact with John Snell. This experience exposed them to what it feels like to be a student in the UK and know more about the children's daily preoccupations and aspirations. They found the conversation very fun especially for having it at a personal level in English with someone in the UK.'
